Recognition to the Operations Team

Recent events in Spain, such as the DANA in Valencia and the widespread power outage, have tested the resilience of the telecommunications infrastructure and its response capacity to large-scale incidents.
In this context, we would like to highlight and thank the exceptional work of the Operations team. Their ability to maintain service continuity during the blackout, minimizing the impact on operations, is clear evidence of impeccable preparation and exemplary execution. Furthermore, the rapid restoration of service after an event as complex as the DANA has once again confirmed that we have a solid network and a leading team in its category.
But beyond emergency response, what guarantees this level of performance is an operation supported by a secure, well-designed, and carefully maintained network. The pillars of this infrastructure include:
• Prohibition of unauthorized actions within a 10-meter radius on either side of our network layout, which preemptively protects the integrity of the system.
• Constant monitoring, both remote and local, allows for early detection of any potential incident and rapid and effective intervention.
• Detailed and updated emergency plans, designed for immediate response to any type of event.
• Optimal access and maintenance conditions along the route, including brush clearing, felling, cleaning, and other measures that ensure rapid and safe interventions.
• Backup power for the ILAs (Intermediate Line Amplifiers). Backup capacity for up to 8 hours, and after that time with generators.
The people on our operations team, with their attention to detail, continuous training, and proactive attitude, are the foundation on which we build the safety, reliability, and reputation of our company.
