Axent stablishes a new POP in ESpanix (Madrid)

ESpanix and Axent combine synergies to expand connectivity possibilities for their clients, extending Axent’s fiber optic network within  ESpanix Datacenter in Madrid.

With this new expansion, Axent will directly offer both dark fiber and capacity services to operators and enterprises hosted in ESpanix Datacenter, allowing connectivity possibilities to national and international destinations, either by terrestrial or submarine links.

“We are delighted to reach this traffic Exchange center, continuing our strategy of connecting the main traffic nodes such as data centers and submarine cable landing stations. The Iberian Peninsula has become a digital Hub that requires more and better connectivity routes, both national and international, being of great value to reach ESpanix through our network.” Said Peng Yan, Commercial Director of Axent.

“The presence of Axent in our facility of Calle Mesena in Madrid broadens the range of operators for all clients of our data center. For ESpanix it is a double bottom line because Axent offers not only dark fiber but also capacity services. ESpanix understands that this interconnection represents the basis for a free and neutral network and encourages connectivity among its clients. The agreement with Axent allows us to advance on our path.” Said Amedeo Beck Peccoz, Commercial Director of ESpanix.

The agreement signed expands commercial ties between Axent and ESpanix, with the firm intention of integrating and complementing the capabilities of both companies to better serve the needs of their clients.
